Several infected files (win32)

Earlier this week I received several notices from Windows Defender that a virus was detected. Defender wouldn't delete it, and neither did Norton Antivirus.

So I installed AVG and it's finding several infected files, many are system files. I've vaulted most of them and deleted some. AVG tells me files are either "virus found lop" (I have no clue what that means) or "virus found/win32 virut"

My question is basically whether or not I should be putting these files into the vault and/or deleting them. Is my system going to malfunction or anything?

Should I do a HJT log?

Thanks!

Re: Several infected files (win32)

Please read THIS and after completing the steps outlined post a HijackThis log over in that section along with a brief description of your problem.

Do not post HijackThis logs in this section please.
