Re: Insufficient Resources!!

Is this a new problem? Any new hardware or software?

Look at your Task Manager. How much is your CPU usage and what is using it?

Thanks Jephree,
There is no new hardware or software.
I couldn't record the CPU usage at that instance but Firefox memory usage is 73 k right now

Re: Insufficient Resources!!

What is the total CPU usage?

The bottom line of the Task Manager.

Also how much RAM do you have?

Also how much free space on your hard drive?

So this is a new problem?

Thanks again Jephree

The total CPU usage at the instance of the appearance of the message is not noticed but it has quite normal readings for the rest of time(proportional with applications running)

RAM=512MB

Free space on hard drive=8.8GB

This problem has been appearing between now and then for the last three months.

Please note that my reply is late due to time zones difference.

Re: Insufficient Resources!!

See if this article on the Page File is helpful:

http://www.theeldergeek.com/paging_file.htm

How large is the hard drive overall? Do you have a second drive you can use?

Re: Insufficient Resources!!

Hi Jephree,
Having looked at the paging-file article, it seems that my memory is optimized.
I wonder if using too many Firefox Add-ons could be the reason for this problem!

Here is just an incidental problem that happened this morning, the On Screen Keyboard which I use allot has been expanded by mistake as shown in the link below, I tried every other way to restore it back but failed to do so. Do you have any idea what to do?

Re: Insufficient Resources!!

Just a tip.

Firefox has one flaw that I do not like and that is that it leaks. Over time I will have just the google page displayed and look at my CPU usage on it and I see it is using over 100,000k and nothing is running or being downloaded.
