Hello,
I have a Panasonic UJ-841 DVD+RW Drive, Windows XP recognizes this drive as:
MAT****IA DVD-RAM DRIVE
Device type: DVD/CD-ROM drives

I guess i need the drivers from Panasonic, but I cant find them anywhere,
Can you help me find the drivers?

These drives do not require drivers. What appears to be the problem? Just the RAM designation?

Does the drive work? If so is this a new problem? Did it ever work?

Q) What appears to be the problem? Just the RAM designation?
A) The problem is that i cant use DVD+RW disk in this drive anymore.

Q) Does the drive work? If so is this a new problem? Did it ever work?
A) Yes the drive works ive tried it on another laptop, the problem has only occured since I reinstalled XP.

Try uninstalling the drive in the Device Manager then rebooting.

Nope, still not working properly.



**Lol just looking through my disks and found Windows 3.1 havent seen that in years **

Thats the drive, got SP3 the old drive's lense had a whopping big scratch on it, yes this the same model as the one already in there, but not the original manufacturer's disk that I installed it with I had to buy a new one.
