C drive full

my cd drive is full

here r the figures:


windows = 30GB
Users = 27GB
Program files = 4GB

does that seem right?

what have you got on it?

I just clicked on mine windows is 2.7GB

have you tried a disc clean up?

Programs >> accessories >> System tools >> disc clean up

Yes- ive done a disk cleanup... this is after the diskcleanup.

any ideas as to why mine might be so large!?

Mine as well is only 2.05 GB.

How many files do you have like this $NtUninstallKB933360$ in the Windows folder? These are Update uninstall files. If you have many you could either;

If you're never going to uninstall the updates, delete these files, or,

burn them to a cd then delete them.

If you run ERUNT, check your C:\WINDOWS\ERDNT\AutoBackup folder and (if your machine has been running OK) delete all but the last few folders. These folders average 25 MB each.
