Windows XP x64 Drivers

Can someone help me acquire the 64-bit Windows XP drivers for the HP Paviliion tx1115nr?

HP does not appear to support XP 64 on that machine:

Did you install that OS?

What drivers do you need exactly?

You could try to ID the motherboard and go from there but it would be a long shot.

Basically you need to use an OS that HP supports for that model:


» Microsoft Windows Vista

» Microsoft Windows Vista (64-bit)

» Microsoft Windows XP

» Microsoft Windows 2000

I understand that HP doesn't support this OS. That's why I asked if it was possible for someone to provide me with links to all the drivers for x64. I need all the x64 Drivers needed for this notebook to function correctly. I'm just asking now before I buy a copy of XP x64. Do you know if the Vista x64 drivers will work even though they aren't supposed to? Same question for the x86 XP drivers.

Drivers are not interchangeable.

They simply will not load.

Being HP hardware they would be the source of the drivers.

There is a long shot, as mentioned, of tracing the motherboard but it is probably an HP motherboard.

Why do you want to install XP 64 on this laptop? That is essentially a server OS.

If you want 64 bit go with Vista.

I think the motherboard is by Quanta (from CPU-Z). But I think Quanta is part of HP anyway.
