Cool Mouse malfunctioning

Every time that I right click to edit or delete my PC freezes. Two error messages appear, windows explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close, and DrWatson Post-mortem Debugger has encountered a problem and needs to close. The errors are listed in the event log but I don’t know how to copy them so that I can post them here to try and give more info for this problem. Many thanks in advance for help with the above.http://www.d-a-l.com/help/images/smilies/rockon.gif

Re: Mouse malfunctioning

Thanks for the quick reply Jephree, but still have the same problem. Also just tried to delete some shortcuts that are kept in a folder on desktop. Manage to open up the edit ok but when selecting file the same errors appear again.

Re: Mouse malfunctioning

You could try ShellExView to see if there are any faulty entries:

http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/shexview.html

You can also post the Event Viewer errors. There is a copy/paste icon when you open the details of an error.

You can also try HijackThis as this issue is symptomatic of some infections.

HijackThis
--------------------------------------------------
Please read THIS and after completing the steps outlined post a HijackThis log over in that section along with a brief description of your problem.

Do not post HijackThis logs in this section please.
