Hi
i download files containing text articles and accompanying graphics.
No problem with the text but often when I open the graphic file windows explorer shuts down and the desktop icons disappear.They reappear after a short while but the files containing the graphics have closed.
I can't open the files to see what the graphic format is as explorer shuts down!!
It doesn't happen with every graphic file which makes it harder to understand whats happening.
Have you any ideas please?
I see that nobody seems to know the answer!
I've now found that the problem occurs with PSD files also possibly others.
I tried opening the files with Photpshop and one did open but the system then froze and
i had to control alt/delete to get going again.
The next time I tried, a minute later, it was back to the icons disappearoing again.
