Windows Installer

Sorry if this has been covered elsewhere, but I would like some help with my Windows installer. Whenever booting up, or switching users, windows Installer tries to start up Fax or Photo gallery. I was unaware that i had those applications, and dont use them if I do. When I cancel out of the "configuring" window, Installer attempts to reload it at least two or three times each, slowing down my computer considerably. How can I fix or eliminate this problem? I have searched for both Fax and Photo Gallery to no avail. Help!!

Re: Windows Installer

Using Spybot S&D, you can control the startups.
Look for a Runonce entry and disable it

It is also possible do disable Runonce entries via the Registry.
