I need help with this one.......

I have a laptop with XP......I have been staying at a hotel on business for a few days. I think the maid has been using my laptop while cleaning the room.....I'm not here while she does it. I can't say for sure but a couple things changed on the desktop. I go into the history and everywhere I had been that day was now not in the history. If she earesed the history where can I go into the computer to she if she has been using it??

well i did some looking and found some stuff in the tep internet files. Sure enough she was in there. How do I delete this??

I'm assuming you're using Internet Explorer. If that is the case,

Tools> Internet Options> Delete Temporary Internet Files

By the way, I think you should talk to the management about it. Or at least inform them of such possibility. If you're interested in free software that can safeguard your computer, SteadyState from Microsoft may be able to help.

You could also put a password on your login so she'd have to know that to get access to the computer. I agree it should be reported.
You can have a look at the cookies folder and see if there are any there you don't recognise.
