some file's names turned blue

some of the files in my computer ( in two of my partitions ) has turned blue. i suspect it is due to some virus. among the files in concern most of them are audio and video files (.mp3,.avi) although other type of files are also affected as .jpg,.doc...but all of the files of these extensions are not affected. i wonder what might be causing this ? and does it carry any potential threat ? pls reply soon.
i have a feeling it might be spreading

6 minutes to find and post the answer? What took you so long?

Since different folks use different color "themes", not all compressed files are "blue". Thanks for posting the answer.
