Hi,

When we pressing down the power button over 5 seconds, the PC will shut down.
If there is still files writing to the HDD, this shut down may result in the file missing(so cause boot error or no boot) the worst is causing the HDD bad sectors.
So the HDD may just go trash this way.

try shut down the PC using regular "start" shut down routine.

use reset button if the system freeze, at least this is better than shut down the PC by cutting off the power to the PC.
