Unmountable boot volume
I've been recently having problems with my Dell desktop. Everytime I start my computer I'm getting an unmountable boot volume error. Any help to get this fixed would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Unmountable boot volume
Go into your bios and for start up sequence or boot first options, look to see if cdrom id enabled as the first boot device.

Did that and now I'm getting a floppy diskette seek failure. I tried disabling the floopy diskette boot in the boot options, but I'm still getting that error.

Re: Unmountable boot volume
Make sure CD is first and that there is no floppy disk in the drive.

Re: Unmountable boot volume
Is there a floppy drive in this machine?
If not, enter the bios and make sure the floppy drive entry is set to NONE, and not a 1.44 drive. (See pic for example. AMI bios is shown.)

No floppy drive in this machine. The only menus I can get to during start up is the Setup menu (F2) & Boot Menu (F12). In the setup menu, I can go to diskette and either turn it to 'OFF', 'USB', 'INTERNAL' & 'READ ONLY'. I turned it off and tried rebooting and it still isn't reading the CD on start up.
