large desktop picture

After my grandson has finished playing his game the picture on the desktop is very very large.
How can I prevent this from happening and how do I get it back to the correct size?
Thanks

Re: large desktop picture

What is the game, and which version of Windows are you running?

Which SP (Service Pack) are you running?

Within the game, under it's options or setup, if there is no provision for setting screen size elements, then right click on the program (game) and choose Properties. Click on the Program tab. Under Run:, choose Normal window, and ensure a checkmark is in the Close on exit box.

Click on the Screen tab. Under Window, ensure there is a check mark in the box for Restore settings at startup.

Post back with your results and any further questions.

If the above doesn't achieve results, there are third party programs which will generally get around this problem (with a mouse click or two).
