hello, I having an issue with music playback on my computer. when I play it, it is speeded up and I don't know where to go to slow it down. any suggestions. it happens if I have downloaded something or I am playing a cd. thanks so much for the help. yannakinns

admins please correct me if im wrong but i had the same problem with games being super speed.
have you got a dual core cpu

if you have:
when you have started the program you are using press and hold ctrl and alt then press delete this will open task manager find the process then right click on it then right click on set affinity untick the box next to cpu 1 this will make it run on only one processor which may help.

if you havent got a dual core cpu then this wont work.
i will try and think of what it the problem could be just incase you havent got a dual core cpu
it may help to wait for the pros to come along and have a look.
