When you go into Device manager to check on your internet driver problem, more than likely you will have a explanation point next to you moniter in device manager also. You are running the generic driver Windows uses is why you can not change screen resolution. The driver for your chipset for video also should be at your computer manufacturers website when you are looking for you drivers for your internet card. Follow Bk's instructions after you have downloaded the driver and installed it.
