VPN Connection dropping after 10 minutes inactivity

I experiencing problems with a VPN connection dropping after about 10 minutes of inactivity. I am connecting to my employer's office using VPN. Once I am connected thru the VPN connection, I connect to a Citrix server.

If I leave my system for a period of at least 10 to 12 minutes, the VPN connection has terminated. 90% of the time, the Citrix session is still active but resized if I had it maximized.

I do not have Hibernate enabled. I have all power settings set to NEVER. I have XP home editiion Version 2002 with service pack 3 installed.

Thank you in advance for any suggestions.
