Re: Deleted Sound Files

Hi azodnem and Welcome. I have moved you posts to a new, separate thread. The general rule for all forums is "different problem, different thread", especially with a different user as hijacking another's thread for your own problem is considered poor forum etiquette - sort of like cutting in the middle of the queue.

As to your posts above, first, please have patience! We are all volunteers here and your posts - all three in less than 40 minutes, came in the middle of the night for many of us.

Did you try System Restore? How about one of the programs I listed here?

If they were system files you may need the Windows installation disk. If they were the driver files for the sound card, you can go out to the card maker's site and download new files. If the sound is on-board the motherboard, the motherboard maker's site will have the latest drivers.

Re: Deleted Sound Files

okay when u say deleting sound files ... do you mean manually deleted ?
if thats it then check recycle bin but probably u meant a permanant ban ...
so try this program ... Download Recuva 1.26.416 - FileHippo.com
this will recover almost any permanant deleted files/folders
you will need to know the directory of the files you deleted post back if that worked/not worked for ya

welcome to the forum
