Packerd Bell/NEC/SP3
Hey, how you doing?
I hoping someone/anyone can help me out with a few problems i'm having.
A few weeks ago had to reformat due to Spyware, anyway, windows update installed SP3 (not perviously installed before format) everything worked fine, but my external hard drive would not allow bootup unless being disconnected and some games would not start up or start up and crash back to desktop....so it was suggested to me to un-install SP3 and go back to SP2....Since going back....
Packardbell NEC GA-819151Pm Motherboard - No Sound - I am apparently missing the PCI Driver, i've looked over the internet for drivers, but I'm not actually sure which one to pick up, anyone point me in the right direction please. (This is my most irritating problem as it always trys to install hardware on start up)
Programs have vanished out of my Programs list - ie - Accessories is there - System tools is not. Anyone know how I get those back please? (I am sure I could work it out, but would like a quick fix if this is possile)
Shut down/Restart takes forever or just hangs. Most annoying when just waiting to restart!!!
Anyway, help would be most appreciated.
