Re: my mouse keeps mooving on its own

Is it a new problem?

What kind of mouse?

If laser have you tried a different surface?

Is it wireless?

Have you cleaned it?

Re: mouse keeps wandering all over screen

If this is alaptop, I ran into this once and the cause was a battery issue. Ended up replacing the laptop battery. I'm not saying this could be your problem. Need more info on your computer to troubleshoot the issue.

Re: mouse keeps wandering all over screen

Agreed - some information about your computer and operating system is needed.

And define: "runs around the screen". Is it making circles and wandering back and forth, never stopping? Or does it drift off to the edge and stay there? When you move it, does it go where you want it to?

Have you cleaned your mouse to ensure no dust or hair is blocking the optics, or interfering with ball movement, or sensing of ball movement?

Re: mouse keeps wandering all over screen

if i am playing a game or trying to underline something the pointer just runs off on its own it seems to go erratically anywhere it feels like i will watch it more closely to see exactly what is happening
