What do i do with Office when formatting XP?

Hi, i'm planning to format my system (running increasingly slower). I hope to get an XP discs to do this. Incidentally does this Windows XP Professional SP2 1st class free shipping on eBay, also Microsoft, Operating Systems, Software, Computing (end time 22-Jun-09 12:14:20 BST) look ok? seems very cheap for a new genuine disc

I'm wondering what to do about Office. I only use Word and Excel and want to avoid buying a new installation disc if possible. Is there a way to copy the applications to disc and reinstall?

Thanks for any help

James

That certainly looks like a legal copy I can't tell if it is sealed. But since the serial is on the packaging it could have been used. However he does have a good feedback rating. You can always get a new copy off of newegg. Those will be unuesed.

Unfortunatly you just can't copy your current installation of office to a disc and copy it back to your computer. It has to be reinstalled.

Do you have any idea why your system is running slow? How long has it been running slow? Maybe we can help you with that. What are your system specs? If you don't know you can run our hardware scan at the top of the page and post the link.

2) For hardware issues also provide your system information: RAM, processor, etc. in addition to your OS.
3) If you have more than one OS on your computer, how does your problem relate to your other OS(s)? This is especially important for hardware issues.
4) Provide as much detail as possible, being specific as even the most minute detail could help others help you solve the problem. Please tell us what you have tried. Please tell us the make/model of your computer.
5) Respond with the result(s) of the suggestion(s) from the other users to provide feedback, even if this only means saying "this worked!"
If you don't know your system information please consider running our hardware scan and post or PM me your link.

I'm not sure why it's slowing down. Over the last 3 or 4 months it's just taking longer for any input to activate mainly opening and closing programs. this is the results of the scan D-A-L Computer Hardware Scan Results

Thaks

Re: What do i do with Office when formatting XP?

Well you can try running CCcleaner, ATF Cleaner, TFC - Temp File Cleaner by OldTimer, and/or windows disc cleaner to clear off temporary files, cookies, etc. If you use CC Cleaner go to options --> advanced and uncheck "Only delete files is windows temp folder older than 48 hours". CC cleaner and ATF cleaner have to run on each account on your computer. Also you can use WinPatrol to help you control what runs on start up. Now do you regularly scan for Viruses and Spy ware? Have you defraged your hard drive lately? From my computer, right click on your C drive --> properties --> tools --> defragment now --> analyze. Thats a good start.
