Windows media player 10

Hi all, I have Windows media player 10 but it will not open. Any suggestions as to correct this please? Many thanks.

What does it do? Any error messages? Look in Event Viewer, see if there is anything logged there that could help identify the problem?

Try downloading media player 11 see if it works better good luck.

I guess it has some supporting patch for it to run properly, codec is one of them.

you may need to check what are the rated patch for that version.
