Question how do i get my memory?

I have lost quite a lot of memry from my pc. Probably from d/loading crap.

Someone once mentioned something about clearing the restore points to get some memry back and it worked. Thing is, I forgot who said it and what it was I did. Can anyone help me sort this?

Also, I wondered if anyone knew about using G-spot.

Hiya 5star
There are lots of things you can do to try and re-gain lost space on your Hard Drive. The restore points you are referring to will be from your System Restore.
To remove them go to: START>ALL PROGRAMS>ACCESSORIES>SYSTEM TOOLS>DISK CLEANUP. Click on the 'More Options' tab and select System Restore.
You could also try typing %temp% into your Run box and delete everything in there too.
There is also a short guide Here that may help too.

[EDIT] Re G-Spot: I recently installed g-spot to check on what codecs i had installed on my PC. In the first box you will see where it says 'Path' and there is an empty box for you type in. At the side of this empty box, there is a small square icon. Click on this icon and you will then be able to browse through your system to the file you want to check. Once you highlight the file just press Enter and g-spot will give you all the info you need.
I ended up installing the k-lite codec pack.
Hope this helps
