Lost control panel

I have recently installed a spyware program, and antivirus program onto my pc. I ran a scan with both programs and now I can not get into my control panel. I can click on control panel and all I get is a blank screen and at the bottom left corner of the screen it says 32 objects. How do I correct this problem.
