Is this a new problem? Were things working OK previously? Any new hardware or software?

If this is a new problem try a System Restore to a point prior to the problem:

start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Restore

If that doesn't help:

What is the make and model of the computer?

Try the Audio drivers direct from the manufacturer's web site.

If the computer was custom built then check the motherboard's manufacturer's web site.

If you need help in this search please post back the ID's.

As to the printer: did it ever work? Is it detected by the computer? Does it have power? Is it an USB device. Have you tried uninstalling then reinstalling the software (with printer removed until told)?
