Try a System Restore to a point prior to the problem:
start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Restore

Hi,
to jephree:
jephree, jephree, his System Restore is blank!!!!
To silky66:
Wow,you've got trouble.Maybe you'd better tell us what is working. It almost sounds like a virus infection.
Do you still have a Start Menu,Desktop with icons etc and a Taskbar? How many accounts on this machine?
Are other apps working at all?
Some specs of your machine ?

Goodaye,
everything is working no problem, all user accounts are fine (5), when I try system restore all I get is a blank screen when that window comes up. I've run scans and there's no virus and there hasn't been any hacking attempts and that, mind you a computer expert I'm not, I'm going by the antivirus I have installed. This problem came out of nowhere on Friday night. Someone tells me the problem is HTMLcode is off but we don't know how to get it back on. cheers.
