Have a Julia soundcard and XP. XP tells me a Multimedia Device is missing drivers but it won't accept the disk - says theres nothing there that's relevant. Windows volume panel shows Juli@12 (2 channel) in the corner but I cannot find any sw on the computer. The soundcard is meant to have it's own mix panel but it doesn't come up.
If I delete the Multimedia device , on restart XP finds it but won't accept the disk.
It works now - but only under windows volume panel.
With it's own interface volume panel (mixer) there are config options ..sampling rate, latency that I have no access to until I can load it properly.
Device Mgr just lists Multimedia Device with drivers not loaded but it won't accept the drivers and if I delete the Multimedia Device and let XP find it - it still won't accept it - see attached pic.
I've had it about 3 months and it wouldn't work with Win Me I had then so have just sorted my other programs with XP and came to it.
Jephree you were right - the BIOS now has the onboard soundcard disabled and all the Juli@ stuff is showing in Device Manager.
However I still don't have the Juli@ mixer panel and so can't access the settings it allows ... sampling rate, latency...
I am trying to use this as in-out testing for external audio equipment with the RMAA audio analyser (freebie) but the result graph jumps all over .. I think its a sampling or latency issue ..... something I can't adjust without the Juli@ volume (mixer) panel.
In exploring the contents do you find a specific folder or file dealing with the mixer panel? This is what I was hoping for. Perhaps finding a mixer panel folder with a setup.exe within that you could run.
