If you right click up top there you should see the option for Menu Bar. Check it.
Also you can try to open Internet Options from the Control Panel.
But as this appears to be possibly a malware infection as a first response please follow the instructions in this post:
http://www.techhelpforum.com/showthread.php?t=3702
Then start a new thread in that (HijackThis) section.

hmm. AVG and such cant find any viruses or something? maybe you can try TrendMicro's Housecall. it's an online anti-virus program. free and quite good. i can't seem to find it's link now though. i'll post it later if i can find it.
and i think it's best you get HijactThis and post a log of it for Neal or Jephree to analyze it. they're great help at that.

Hi,
Thanks to all, I had a mate come round and apparrently there were five files
missing on the ie7 download which stopped it operating and also stopped it being uninstalled, he managed to transfer the missing and I now have ie7 up
and running ( for the time being, judgeing by other peoples problems with this upgrade) which also solved the other problems mentioned.
Once again thanks ( I will reccomend this site to all my friends )
