WinXPDisableZero ???? What is it ????

On my Toshiba laptop running XP home SP2, I quite often have the situation where it runs incrediblly slowly. If you open the 'Windows Task Manager', under the Processes, you will see this WinXPDisableZero process is using all of the CPU resorces. If the process is closed down, all appears to run OK and a @@@@ lot faster (funny that).

Does anyone know what this process is, or what it does and if I can stop it from starting in the first place?

Oh yes, I have also just run the advertised 'Registry Cleaner' and I had over 200 errors - is this really bad and can I clean the problems for free?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you for reading this.

Hi Brain.

I have removed the belkin card program, I will just have to wait and see if it reapears. Thank you for the point in the right direction.
Cheers
Russ
