Unhappy javascript not working

javascript works in firefox but doesn't work in Internet Explorer 7 on my Windows XP Rev. 2 computer. I think it worked before, or at least I didn't notice ant browsing problems in IE7 in the past. What can I do to get it to also work in IE7?

Cool Java in IE7

Click on Tools > Internet Options > Advanced Tab

Scroll down the list and make sure that Java is enabled in here. You can also at the bottom of this tab click a button to reset IE7 to default settings but only do this as a last resort.

Let us know how it goes.

Also, I've just realised, you could click on Tools > Internet options > the Programs tab and make sure that the Sun Java Console is enabled. If it is not, highlight Sun Java Console and click Enable at the bottom.

Let us know how you get on.

Javascript still not working

I tried all three suggestions, and I found that according to my settings javascript should be working; but it doesn't work. I'm starting to notice other glitchs. I can't change my home page anymore. I always get http://runonce.msn.com/runonce2.aspx in the address bar and a solid blue box below the toolbars. Also, I can't add additional users. I just get a blank box below the toolbar when double clicking on the User Accounts icon.

Cool Suggestion about IE7 java probs

You could always go into the Add/Remove programs utility and remove IE7 and reinstall it. Remember to download the installer file first from Microsoft's website.

Let me know how it goes.
