Exclamation Setup?!?

hi,
i have a Hp nx9010, with windows Xp, and when i turned it on it went straight to the Bios setup utility. i then restored the defaults, and saved then exited, but it still keeps coming back to the Bios setup utility....Help!..i have no idea whats goin on..

now its just a blank screen with a cursor..and its makin werid beeping sounds...its dead, isnt it???...T.T

The behavior you mention indicates that the BIOS cannot detect the hard drive.

If you look in the BIOS Setup do you see a hard drive detected?

yup..thats the one..
wel..its got "internal hard disk: IC25..."...does that mean anythin?..
sorry...i'm pretty useless when it comes to these things..
