Browser won't connect
So I am normally decent at IT stuff and fixing things and whatnot but I have BEEN STUMPED!!
I have a laptop that connects to the wireless internet connection just fine. Aim will connect just fine however when we bring up Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox it won't connect to any websites. It just brings up a page can not be found, will not connect thing inside the browsers instead.
I have run Ad-Aware and Spybot and have removed all infections and whatnot and it still doesn't work. I believe it may be a virus or sumthin like that but I would rather not pay for a virus scanner program. If anyone knows of any free virus scanners then please let me know.
If you have any other suggestions about how to fix it those are greatly appreciated.
