Wink website speaker/talker

:dunce: Hi is there anyone out there who can help me. I do voluntary work for a disability Charity. I am at the moment helping with their website, I want to be able to make the website talk so that people with sight impairments can listen to our site.

Can anyone advise on this ie free web speakers or software as we are a charity and cant afford to pay the prices that some of these providers charge we would be very grateful for this information thanks

John

Hi John

That is a very unusual request, in my experience.

However, take a look at the following link, which may be able to assist you: -

http://www.screenreader.net/

Also, I believe the technical term used is a 'screenreader'.

Other than that, I'm afraid you will have to 'Google' for what you want, as I can only point you in the right direction.

Good luck.

Glad I could be of some help, John.

If you do find 'free' programs, just be careful what you install. Use the following website to analyze the program, prior to installing it, for virii, worms, trojans, etcetera: -

http://www.virustotal.com/

Good luck in your quest.

NB Don't forget Google is your friend.
