problems with system recovery

hi all i have a ei systems (dont laugh) 4411 laptop and after trying all other options have decided to use the system rec cd , ive done this using quick format and when it asks me to restart and then remove cd nothing happens , it just says press cntrl alt del as drive is partitioned or compressed , please help or im gonna chuck it on the flo or and jump on it ,c heers billy

it actually says ntldr is compressed
