Exclamation Desktop Help

I can't seem to locate a window on my desktop. I see it on the task window on my taskbar, but I have maximize the item to see the window. When I click on minimize the window disappears.

I've tried moving the windown, but my arrow just goes directly to the top left hand corner of my screen. I think someone moved my windown up there and I can't seem to bring it back down.

Can anyone help me please?

This is what should happen.

Can you describe this in more detail?

Again if a window is minimized it should disappear save the entry on the Task Bar
