Data recover help
I was having issues with my computer booting incorrectly and after doing some work I determined that I had some bad sectors on my hard drive. I installed another drive into my computer and took out the bad drive. Now I have data on the old drive I need. I have it in an external hard drive enclosure and I seem to be able to read the drive without too many issues.
Now heres the issue: How do I get files off the drive from the desktop and my docs? When I try to open it it won't let me since I'm not logged in as that user that owned the files.
