changing set priority

I accidentally changed the priority of "winlogon.exe" to high and when i try to change it back on the task manager it won't allow me to and now my computer runs slow or unstable as some say? and I'm asking if any1 knows how i can change it back to normal i would be very appreciative

Hello, and Welcome to techhelpforum.

My winlogon.exe is set to "high" and I'm experiencing no problems.

If you really feel that this is the reason your machine is running slow, try a System Restore to a date prior to the problem.

Start the machine in Safe Mode and log on as your account (Admin).

Start, Programs, Accessories, System Tools, System Restore.
