Wolf in sheeps clothing
After successfully blocking out the spyware using my firewall, they now get in bundled in packets from my ISP!
I can't block the ISP so all the spyware is walking right on in disguised as packets from my ISP.
I have an ad.doubleclick.net packet captured to the desktop for examination.
The source IP in the packet is 71.252.0.12....my ISP ~!.....the payload is doubleclick
Is there a way for a home user to combat this invasion? or do we have to surrender our computer to faceless strangers for their use...of course we still get to pay for the electricity and shelter for the computer.
