hANGING!!!
I installed Windows Xp Professional around 5 months ago. Since then i havent tried any 3D graphics game until now. The computer keeps on hangin exactly 1min45sec to 2 min after the game starts. This happens in Vice City and in low end graphic games like Counter Strike !!! I am positive it is not my graphic card coz when i had Windows 98, the games were fine. I am using the same driver i used when i had Windows 98. I even updated the driver but still the same problem so i reverted back to the old one. Not sure if this has anythin to do with it, but Norton Antivirus crashes at i386....Pls help!!!

System info:
Pentium 4 @ 2.4 ghz
Windows XP Professional

(i had service pack 1, but when the problem started i unistalled it,but it didnt help)

I am NOT a "reader" of HJT Logs but 2 items really stand out:

DAPIEBar

NavErrRedir Class

I suggest you post your log in the Spyware, Adware and Viruses section.

Don't know if this has anything to do with your driver problem.
i386 contains XP's Driver Cache.
Are you sure your games are XP compatable? Click properties and compatability.
In my opinion you should have the latest drivers as well as SP1 & all its' updates if not SP2.
