Hi just joined,
Internet Explorer crashed last night, my pc started up again but with no icons on my desk top.
Somehow today Ive got on to the net via task manager, can anyone out there help me... advice please.

Seem to have plenty replies to my problem, re - dont have any icons on my desk top when starting up.
But can't open them..
Recieved a message saying (The message ive entered is too short. Please lengthen it to at least 1 characters) Has Internet Explorer taken a wobbly...

If you don't have icons on your desktop when your PC as started. Enter Task Manager.
Select File then New Task(Run)
In that window type Explorer.exe

That should restore your desktop icons
